Someone tore the Missing posters down that I'd put up in the quad.
Look, I'm not giving up on my studies - Jesus, the last thing Will would want me to do is to stop acting. But at one point someone from the neighborhood asked me if he hadn't just run off, and I know he hasn't - even if he wanted to break up with me, he's not cruel, he just isn't, I know that much.
So I'm going to be the best little Broadway Baby that I can possibly be, but in the meantime I won't stop looking, and I'll talk to everyone else who hasn't given up and we won't stop looking, and did I mention no one's going to stop looking?
All these videos and messages. Something isn't right.
A couple of nights ago Last of the Mohicans was on, and when Daniel Day Lewis told Madeleine Stow, "Stay alive, I will find you!" I just burst into tears.
Oh yeah. I'm a double again. I haven't seen my new roommate, though. Hope she doesn't mind all the pink. And the missing poster.

I can't even bring myself to title this. There's just...nothing. The police can't find him and his mom can't find him and I'm scared to pieces. It's effecting my school work and obviously Rent bit the dust and I don't even care. If all those rumors about Astor are true I want to pound on the walls with my bare fists and scream at the top of my lungs to make it give him back. I want to take a flashlight and go walk through the woods, calling his name.
Saint Anthony isn't answering my prayers.
I feel like there's something I should be doing about this, but I don't know what.

So, um.
Before Spring Break, Will told me that he was going home to spend quality time with his Mom and last I heard while he was there it was going really, really well. We phoned and emailed and texted like the adorably faux co-dependent obsessed couple that we are and he assured me he'd be on campus before me.
Except he's not here at all. He's not answering his phone, or any texts, I've got no emails from him. His stuff is in his room; in fact his guitar is here, his books, his scripts, though his Flip isn't, which he usually keeps on him anyway.
I checked with MOCHA this afternoon, they said he did arrive on campus, people saw him!
I'm gonna call his mom. And see if he's had a shift at the Hole. I'm worried. Kind of scared, actually.
He better be deathly ill or something, because if not I'm going to kill him. :(
Oh god, what if the stories about Astor are true? What if it ATE him?
If anyone hears from him, please let me know?

I auditioned for
victoriangothik's horror film (which will not predispose me from being in 's. I did one of Lisa's monologues from Girl, Interrupted, and Will got that expression on his face that he does when I surprise him and he can't decide if he's disturbed or turned on. Ann put me through a couple of emotive exercises, and BAM! I got the part.
Of course, the definition of "the part" only goes so far as being told what to wear and one of our shooting locations. I know nothing about the character nor the plot. I think a lot of actors would be WTF about this, but it all sounds terribly intriguing to me! I'm looking forward to the shoot and experiencing Ann as a director. Will's going to be assisting on the other side of the camera.
Rent continues apace. Dot, I need your notes from "Contact" and "La Vie Boheme Reprise", and please get with Lettie about her rail work on "Out Tonight". Eric, next rehearsal I want "One Song Glory" perfect, Jane, YES, I DO expect you to shove your pants down in rehearsal, and please, Bill, for the love of God, CUDDLE TRU LIKE YOU MEAN IT!

The main campus theater has been reserved on a Saturday expressly for the purpose of auditioning potential Rent castmembers. Ariana sits on central front orchestra area with clipboard in her lap, while off to one side one of her buddies from the music program is prepared to play whatever music is provided for him. There's also an electrical outlet and a sound system that is compatible for cassette tape, CD, and mp3 player.
Leaning back in her seat, Ariana regards the empty stage as the lights go up, and the first person to audition steps forward...
OOC: Ariana is asking for a contemporary monologue and 16 bars of a contemporary song (ie, a "modern" musical or current rock/pop song from the last 20 years or so). For narrative ease, feel free to emit a portion of the monologue and maybe just the chorus of the song your character is singing. Please indicate in the title thread if you're auditioning for a specific role, your character's vocal range (ie teno, alto, soprano, etc), and the song they're singing. URL's to youtube samples are welcome!

Jane: A copy of 'Singin' In The Rain', and a pair of summer preview tickets to the Broadway revival of Hair.
Jon-Baptiste: A copy of 'Marie Antoinette', and a script copy of 'The Persecution and Assassination of Jean-Paul Marat as Performed by the Inmates of the Asylum of Charenton Under the Direction of the Marquis de Sade'.
Hemi: Left at his bedside, a snowglobe depicting a dancing couple dressed in 50's finery, the 'snow' is silvery glitter.
Ron: A poster with a pre-Raphalite image displaying the fairies of A Midsummer Night's Dream, in the background of the poster the play itself has been printed in completion in tiny, old-fashioned script.
Mark: A copy of Wynton Marsalis' Baroque Duet on CD.
Will's gift will be making IC appearance. Stay tuned!

Dear God,
I know I didn't do anything wrong, but it feels like with so much misfortune that it's somehow wrong to be so happy.
I'll be lighting candles for Hemi and Byron, and saying prayers. I hope that's okay, and that they don't view it as an interference. Please let Hemi come through whatever he has to with all his faculties and limbs intact, not just because he's my dance partner but because he's a wonderful guy. And let Byron come to discover that there's light in his soul, because even if I don't really know him, I do know that suicide is a sin, and he doesn't deserve that stain. Suicide is a sin of despair, and what's more, it's a sin for those who fail to give someone who feels that horrible the support they need. Lord, please give him the support he needs to make it through this. Please give them both the support they need.
In the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, Amen.

Okay, first off let me say that Miss Jane is quite right: Voice Of The Mountain is a pretty awesome and sweet musical treat, and I look forward to their future concerts. I might even start looking up some bluegrass to suggest to them so I actually know some for the next time they play, though those arrangements of rock and pop songs? Diviiiiiiiine!
Anyway, it looks like folks coming along with me to Astoria are definitely Will and Ron, and...well, Truman? You're still invited, but since I haven't heard from you, I don't know whaddup.
Either way guys, Theo will be here with the van on Wednesday after classes, probably around five or six-ish. Most likely you will be put in Andreas and Jason's old bedrooms, and possibly the guest room, or the pull-out in the den. But I promise there will be sleeping arrangements - and a big meal - waiting for us by the time we get there! It's like being stormed by the Greeks at Troy...only in reverse! Or something.
